¶ Overview of Roles & Responsibilities
Here we give you an overview of all the critical roles and responsibilities in each discipline with a detailed range of tasks based on the RACI model. Please be aware that the names of roles in this playbook might differ from Henkel's naming conventions. Still, you can identify relevance based on the functions and responsibilities described here. As long as the necessary tasks are carried out, it doesn’t matter how we name this position or whether one or two persons fulfil this role (you can plan and assign personnel flexibly according to your resources available).
RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, or Informed) is a widespread framework to define roles. It is also a responsibility assignment matrix in project management to map task roles and responsibilities. Using a RACI matrix for a project helps you eliminate confusion by identifying who’s doing what at a more granular level than simple task assignments.

RACI Maxtrix Rules: once your RACI chart is complete, review it to be sure it meets these criteria:
- Every task has at least one Responsible person
- There’s one (and only one!) accountable party assigned to each task to allow for clear decision-making
- No team members are overloaded with too many Responsible tasks
