The Business Model sets out how your new product, service, or venture will capture a part of the value that it creates for customers. The critical question is what the revenue-generating mechanism will be. Good business models align value creation for customers with value capture so that the more value customers perceive they get, the more revenue they generate.
Review your Finalised Concept Card and your Persona Statements. Reflect on how you create value for customers.
Think as a group about possible ways in which you could monetise the offering. What revenue could you generate, how would that work, and who would pay?
Evaluate the different potential income streams based on the effort, size, and other requirements to generate them and on how well they align customer value with income generation.
Decide on the business model(s) that is/are most synergetic with your value creation and therefore have the best scale potential as you grow and create more customer value.
